Commendation Conference
Emphasizing the determination to start anew, we embark on a new journey. In order to motivate all the students of the Senior High School Department to follow the examples, study diligently and make continuous progress, with a vigorous and positive youthful attitude to embark on a new journey, on the morning of June 4th during the break, the Senior High School Department of our school held a grand fifth awarding ceremony of this semester on the campus playground, which was presided over by Deputy Director Xu Haihong of the Senior High School Department. In attendance were Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai, International Department Head Wang Yinzhai, Deputy Directors Jiang Shengyou and Zhu Yanyan, who presented awards to the students that achieved various honors on the spot.
First and foremost, every word and action reflects one's character, and every small detail of daily life reveals one's integrity. Accordingly, in their everyday school life, our students study diligently, maintain self-discipline, behave politely, and follow rules—focusing on morning readings, dining in an orderly manner, and adhering to dormitory regulations, thus demonstrating a new trend of youth through good habits. Moreover, at the beginning of the ceremony, Deputy Director Xu Haihong announced the winners of the "Enthusiastic Morning Reading Star," "Civilized Dining Star," and "Civilized Dormitory Star" awards for each grade, after which department leaders presented awards to the honored students.
In addition, language connects the world, and youth builds the future. This English speech contest showcased the English talents of students from Anqing Foreign Language School, also igniting their passion for learning English. May every student be able to use English as their wings, find their own development direction, and add a rich and colorful touch to the campus cultural life.
Furthermore, the cheerleading team of our Senior High School Department stood out in the 2026 Anqing City Student Cheerleading Competition. With extremely difficult movements, seamless team coordination and powerful performance, they won the first prize in the senior high school group's flower ball cheerleading event! More remarkably, our Senior High School Department has consecutively won the first prize in the Anqing City Cheerleading Competition for five years, taking home the championship trophy and displaying the most beautiful style of Anqing Foreign Language School.
In conclusion, the wind is strong and the sails are full, with new aspirations and determination. Every honor is a testament to hard work; every role model's strength is a guiding light for progress. Therefore, it is hoped that all students of the Senior High School Department will take the advanced students as their role models and the honor as their motivation. Also, they should not waste their youth or lose their original aspirations. In the future study and life, they should be bold in making progress and breaking through. With an energetic attitude, they should march towards the mountains and the seas, and with unremitting efforts, write their own splendid chapters of youth.
